APPLICATION OF GLOBAL NAVIGATION SPACE SYSTEMS IN THE CONTROL SYSTEM LOOP OF UNMANNED AERIAL VEHICLE FOR REMOTE SENSING

This paper describes experience of using GNSS receiver for control system of unmanned aerial vehicle and further aerial photography processing.
The article highlights the experience of using the receiver satellite navigation systems in the control system loop of the unmanned aerial vehicle, as well as for processing of aerial photographs.
The element base development in the field of satellite navigation receivers, as well as in the field of micromechanical vibratory gyroscopes was largely determined the current paces of development of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) for civil purposes, opening up new possibilities and prospects.
The system for aerial photography based on unmanned aerial vehicle (with granting support of the Krasnoyarsk regional fund for scientific and technical activities) had been developed in the Siberian Federal University. The airframe of the system was realised on the "tailless" aerodynamic configuration with take-off weight 6 kg.
The UAV autopilot is the central element of the on-board control unit, which combines in its composition: sensors inertial navigation system; satellite navigation receiver; air data system (absolute and differential pressure gauges), as well as a calculator. Operation of the software (software) is controlled by real time operating system QNX Neutrino.
